Rating

The rating field displays a row of stars that respondents can click to give a score. Simple, visual, universally understood.

Adding a rating field

• Click the + button between blocks, or
• Type /rating and select Rating from the list

Settings

• Required — make the rating mandatory
• Star count — select from 3, 5, 7, or 10 stars (default is 5)

How it looks

Respondents see a row of star icons. They click (or tap) to select their rating. Hovering previews the selection before committing.

Choosing the right star count

• 5 stars — the classic. Works for most satisfaction and review questions
• 3 stars — quick and simple for low-effort feedback
• 10 stars — when you need more granularity (though at that point, a Linear Scale might be clearer)

In the responses dashboard

Rating responses show up as a distribution bar chart so you can see at a glance how many people gave each star value, plus the overall pattern.
