Hello world. Meet FormGrid.

Founder's note

We started working on FormGrid because the modern web began to feel too sanitized. The same templates everywhere, clean, safe, polished – and completely lifeless.

We wanted to build something with a bit more room to play. More freedom in how things look, more flexibility in how they work.

Keep reading – or just try it (it's free, no signup required).

Forms with personality, no assembly required.

The form builder that actually builds. And designs. And does math.

1

Step 1: Describe what you need, for example:

Got an idea for a cool form? Try it yourself .

A waitlist signup form with a cool dark space theme
A retro pixel art bug report form with file uploads
A clean contact form, topic-based follow-up questions
2

Step 2: FormGrid builds a unique form for you

The whole thing – questions, design, logic, the works.

3

Step 3: Profit Tweak it or hit publish

Make changes or share it as-is via a link, website embed, or popup.

Want to take over? You'll like the editor.

Quick edits or deep customization. The rabbit hole goes as far as you want.

Write it like a doc.

Write naturally, with less clicking around. Use slash commands and Markdown.

Put things where you want them.

Place anything anywhere on a flexible grid.

“ I wanted something completely different from Google Forms. I LOVE the site and the form I created is incredible. ”

What we've been working on lately

May 11 Phone number field, built in
May 12 Prevent duplicate field submissions
Tomorrow (probably, we'll do our best) The thing you email us about today

FormGrid is bootstrapped and built by a team of three.

If you send us feedback, it goes straight to one of the people working on the app (usually Björn), not a support queue.

Our roadmap begins in our inbox.

TL;DR

The web lost its personality.
Some of it is hiding behind this button.
