Email Notifications

You can receive an email notification each time someone submits your form. Each email includes the full response with all field labels and values, plus a link to view it in FormGrid.

Enabling email notifications

  1. Open your form and go to the Edit tab
  2. Click the More menu (the three-dot icon)
  3. Choose Settings
  4. Toggle Email notifications on

Notifications are sent to your account email address. Your email must be verified before you can enable this feature — if it isn’t, you’ll be prompted to verify it first.

Disabling notifications

Open the form settings and toggle Email notifications off. You’ll stop receiving emails for new responses immediately.

How it works

  • Emails are sent shortly after each submission
  • The subject line is New response: followed by your form title
  • The email body shows each field that received a response and its submitted value — empty fields are omitted
  • Each notification includes a direct link to the response in FormGrid
  • Notifications are per-user — enabling them only affects your account, not other team members

Troubleshooting

  • Toggle is disabled — your account email needs to be verified first. You’ll be prompted to verify it when you try to enable notifications
  • Not receiving emails — check your spam/junk folder, and make sure the notification toggle is still enabled in the form settings
