Predefined Themes
Don’t want to fuss with individual colors and fonts? Predefined themes give you a polished look in one click.
Available themes
FormGrid includes sixteen built-in themes:
- Light: clean and bright with a white background. The default look
- Dark: a sleek dark background with light text. Easy on the eyes
- Minimal: understated and clean with soft, muted tones
- Business: polished and professional with warm neutrals
- Bold: bright and high-contrast with a punchy accent
- Elegant: refined and sophisticated with a serif heading font
- Dreamy: soft, airy pastels with a light, translucent container
- Party: dark and festive with playful floating icons
- Colorful: vibrant and playful with multi-color blob backgrounds
- Retro: warm, vintage cream tones with a monospace font
- Mono: monochrome greys for a stripped-back, minimalist look
- Techno: near-black with a neon accent and a futuristic feel
- Earth: natural, grounded sage and sand tones
- Terminal: green-on-black monospace with a hacker aesthetic
- Cute: sweet and playful with warm, friendly colors
- Sporty: crisp and energetic with a deep navy accent
Applying a theme
- Click the Design button in the toolbar to open the Form design panel
- In the Theme section at the top, click Change theme to open the Select theme dialog
- Each theme is shown as a preview tile with its real colors and background. Click one to apply it
Your form updates in real time so you can see the result immediately. The dialog also includes a Generate tile if you’d rather create a theme with AI.
Customizing after applying
A predefined theme is just a starting point. After applying one, you can tweak any individual property — change the accent color, swap the font, adjust the background. The predefined theme sets all the values, but nothing is locked.
