Navigation Buttons
Navigation buttons — Back, Next, and Submit — have their own style, separate from multiple choice options and ranking items. You’ll find them in the Navigation section of the Form design panel, so you can give your call-to-action buttons a distinct look without affecting the rest of the form.
Properties
Background color
The fill color of the navigation buttons. Turn on Auto to derive the color from your form’s accent color, or turn it off to pick a custom color.
Text color
The color of the label and icon on the navigation buttons.
Rounded corners
How rounded the button corners are. Set to 0 for sharp rectangles, or crank it up for pill-shaped buttons.
Submit icon
Add an icon to the Submit button, shown next to its label. Click the icon picker to choose any icon, or use the clear button to remove it. The icon appears on the submit button only — Back and Next stay text-only.
Border
Add a border around the navigation buttons:
- Width — border thickness
- Style — solid, dashed, or dotted
- Color — border color
Shadow
Add a shadow for a raised or floating effect.
Tips
- A submit icon like a checkmark or arrow makes the final action feel more clickable
- Make sure button text and the submit icon stay readable against the button background
- Leave Auto on to keep navigation buttons in sync with your accent color as you experiment with themes
- Give navigation buttons a slightly bolder style than your options to guide respondents toward the next step
