The Insert Menu

The insert menu is the visual way to browse everything you can add to your form. It’s organized into categories so you can quickly find what you’re looking for.

Click the + button that appears between blocks in the editor. The menu pops up with all available blocks grouped by type.

These are the interactive fields your respondents will fill out:

Short answer — single-line text input
Long answer — multi-line text area
Email — validated email input
Multiple choice — pick from options
Rating — star-based rating
Linear scale — numeric scale with labels
Ranking — drag-and-drop ordering
File upload — accept file attachments
Hidden field — invisible field populated via URL

Layout

New page — add a page break to create multi-page forms
End page — add a custom thank-you page shown after submission

Large heading (H1)
Medium heading (H2)
Small heading (H3)
Paragraph — regular text
Image — upload an image

Both do the same thing — add blocks to your form. The insert menu is great for browsing when you’re not sure what you want. Slash commands are faster when you already know.
