Drag and Drop
Moving things around in FormGrid is as simple as dragging and dropping. Works for blocks, options within fields, and layout rearrangements.
Moving blocks
- Hover over any block to reveal the drag handle (the dots icon on the left)
- Click and hold the drag handle
- Drag the block to its new position — a blue indicator line shows where it’ll land
- Release to drop
Reordering options
In multiple choice and ranking fields, you can also drag individual options to reorder them. Hover over an option, grab its handle, and drag it to a new position within the list.
Tips
- The drag handle is also a button — click it (without dragging) to open the block properties menu
- You can drag blocks into side-by-side layouts to create columns
- If you’re having trouble grabbing the handle, make sure you’re clicking on the dots icon itself
